Tips for Test 2

Please Refer to page 24, 25, 26, 29, and 31. Yes I know just a few pages but I think it’s hard. For me…

ARC TICKET STOCK (Page 24)
There are 6 types of ARC traffic documents
1. Four-flight Passenger Ticket (manual)
2. Automated Ticket/ Boarding Pass (automated)
3. Prepaid Ticket Advice (manual)
4. Miscellaneous charge Order (manual)
5. Tour Order (manual)
6. Refund/ Exchange Notice (manual)

FYI, ‘manual’ means by hand and ‘automated’ means using the computer.

Simply say that, five of these are an ACCOUNTABLE ticket.
Four-flight Passenger Ticket
- Used for airline transportation or domestic rail transportation
- Only used for 4 times in flight or rail segments
Automated Ticket/ Boarding Pass
- A printed airline ticket by using computer reservation system
- Each coupon is imprinted individually (carbonized)
Prepaid Ticket Advice
- Used to permit issuance of an airline ticket at a location other than the location of payment
- For example, a tourist went to a travel agent and book ticket but he didn’t bring money. So, the agent issued a PTA for the tourist and he can make his payment at the airline with the PTA as the reference.
Miscellaneous Charge Order
- Used for variety of functions including deposits and final payment
- For example, payment of land packages, car rentals, hotel accommodations, and cruise.
- “Only pay amenities on a piece of paper”
- Available in US only
Tour Order
- Only to process deposits or final payment for land tour packages or air/ sea cruise

Simply say that, this is the only
NONACCOUNTABLE ticket document.
Refund/ Exchange Notice
- A support document to record and process ticket refund and exchange transactions
- “It’s a prove to refund”
