Trip to Weston Wetland Sanctuary

Hello everybody!
It's such a great opportunity to write in again!

Now let's go to the main point. Welcome to Weston Wetland Sanctuary!

Going there, we need an approximate of 2 hours 30 minutes to reach. Passing by few places from the city which there are Putatan, Papar, Beaufort, and so on. Weston Wetland Sanctuary is located further more of Beaufort and near to Sipitang.

By that time, we departed from Putatan at 1pm straight and reached Beaufort. Due to the case of raining cats and dogs, the guide was worried about us getting wet and cold once reach Weston Wetland Sanctuary. Some more, he said "As the boat is moving, the wind blows." So, we stop at Beaufort for a while just to buy raincoat. Thumbs up for the service of the guide.

Picture Below: Pass by the Beaufort Bridge and saw the Padas River.

Finally we have reached Weston Wetland Sanctuary and the rain is getting smaller. First, we will be having our short walk into the village by walking on the timber path ways. Then, we will be visiting one of the houses in the village and entertained by the villagers by serving their local cakes (kuih muih), tea and coffee. From there, everybody are able to learn the culture and the lifestyle of the locals.

As the time pass by, it's time for us to continue our journey! First, we will take a short walk to go further into the village and take a look at the scenery. It is beautiful, calm, and mysterious as you can see from the pictures below.

After that, all of us went in to the boat and sat properly with safety jackets. We came across with the Birds, Proboscis Monkeys (they are huge) and Silver Langur! There are a lot of them swanging and jumping around. Plus, we are able to spot the young Proboscis! Some might just sit there without moving and some are 'dating' the other Proboscis. Definitely you are able to take a lot of beautiful pictures along the journey. Other than that, there are cows and crocodiles!

Picture Below: Can you see two faces on the sky? It's like kissing

As the journey continues, we saw the sunset and it is beautiful. When it is going to dark, we are able to taste the foods that have been prepared. It is delicious and fresh.

In the end, there will be suprises! Want to know what is that?

Explore it yourself!

July Updates - Going on a trip to Weston, Beaufort Sipitang

It's been so long that I didn't update.
Currently all the students are having their test, assignments dues, and so on. Including me as well and I am really really tired for this semester. All the students are rushing their works and the tests are going on this week. Yet, the final examinations are just around the corner.

Anyway,
I'm currently plan to organise a trip for the Diploma in Tourism students.
Whereby, we are going to WESTON, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!
I don't know whether do you guys heard about this place but you can ask me or Zul about it as we been there but not in the same time and year. Lols.

Date: 15 August 2009
Place of Meeting: Carnation Hall (1pm)

Weston is located between Beaufort and Sipitang. Therefore, we might need to have a transport to go there. Thanks to Tropical Holidays Paradise Tours and Travel Sdn. Bhd. for helping me in organising this coming trip. If you guys are interested in knowing this company, here is the website

In Weston, there will be a Malay house visiting. From there, we are able to have our afternoon tea by listening to the story of Weston and the histories of how they came to Sabah. If I'm not mistaken.

Next, we will walk pass the village and go on board in a boat where we need to explore the sea. Where there will be a sight seeing of monkeys. Silver langur, Proboscis, and so on. We are allowed to take pictures of the monkeys but there are rules.
1. You can't be too noisy as the monkey will know and will be afraid.
2. Don't jump on the boat as we are on the sea.
3. It will be told by that time haha

More to say,
In the late afternoon, we will proceed our journey to explore crocodiles. Don't be scare when you exploring the crocodile even though you are afraid of that. It is safe in this journey and you all just having fun and excitement right? Try it! Be brave and be adventurous!

At night after the crocodile, we will have our dinner in the restaurant.
They serve the best seafood with the shrimps are fresh and big. For me. The foods there are just nice and delicious. Their services are good as well as they are treating you as a family. But, before going to the restaurant, there is a suprise.
I can't say what is that as it is a suprise right? but I can tell you that it is beautiful and it can shine~ LOL!

Anyway, I have to end this now.
I can't say more about this Weston because you have to explore it yourself!
I attached some pictures for you all as to give you guys an idea how Weston are. Do ask me about this trip when you all see me ok?

BBQ Beach Party at Tanjung Aru

Hia Everyone!
WARNING: BEFORE YOU READ THIS POST, PAUSE OR STOP MY BLOG'S SONG ON THE LEFT 3rd ITEM

It’s been two days we didn’t see each other and I hope you all having a wonderful holiday with your friends and families back in your own hometown!

Have anybody having a soar throat after the beach party?
I have a little and I’m working on it. Haha.
Sorry for the late uploads.. because I was collecting pictures from Jenette to combine.

Anyway, here I would like to talk first about our beach party right after the examination.
It’s simple yet we had fun there.
But before that, we had this meeting in school by our Dean and I thought there are some serious issues but… It was not what we expected. I also don’t know why this problem suddenly occurs right after the exams. Weird.

Second issue, just before the BBQ party on the beach, I was trying to call everyone for not to be late and student have to be punctual for the bus never waits for people and we had mention earlier that the party is going on at 2pm. Some people were not answering calls and some was like never even want to care about it or my calls. Ended up, there are only 9 people following the bus and we paid for RM45 (I'm kinda disappointed). Btw, I’m not following the bus so I can’t help it too.

For those who followed Jenette’s car, I would like to say Thank you to Jenette, Lance, Tarence, Zul, and myself for helping from
1. Oten’s House to get the BBQ equipment.
2. Chloe’s house to carry the foods and relax for a while. Tarence played my piano as well and he is a quick learner!
3. Jenette’s House to carry foods as well. Lance and Tarence enjoyed by playing with the dogs. Zul meet up with us at Jenette’s place and he followed our car.
4. Zul , Tarence and Lance who light the fire for BBQ and their hands really burn out. Masak sudah! haha

Between that, we were having this crisis of car matters. Who want to about it?
Well, Jenette’s car didn’t work in the middle of the road. So, all of us who are in the car gone PANIC and Jenette keep on calling her dad for help but we all manage to reach Beach 2 by stopping and struggling half way on the road and people keep ‘beep’ us for that. So bad.

Okay, back to business.
I uploaded the video I took and some pictures. I put the pictures to slides in this blog because I don’t want it to be messy and there are so many of them; those who want the copy of the pictures can copy from my Facebook or Friendster (if you have my account).
